Apple unveils their fun new products - New iPods
Apple CEO Steve Jobs reports 42 million iPods were sold through 2005–that’s 78% of the market share for January.
High-end deals for the 5G iPods and Nano, which should be available in mid-March for around $99.
iPod for the home: Jobs has introduced the iPod Hi Fi–very nice. It’s a three-driver system with a universal iPod dock on top. It has a built-in power supply so no power brick; it plugs right into the wall. It can also be powered by 6 D batteries. I also has two 80mm mid-range drivers, sealed acoustic suspension, integrated handles, and sealed resin enclosure so no vibration. You can set tone control and adjust treble and base; set the screen to “large album art” and ships with Apple Remote (the same one that comes with the Mac Mini and iMac).
Cost is $359 and is available today!
